The Gradalis Approach
Our approach to Professional Development makes it possible for schools to support professional development for their teachers while they teach! Our cohorts bring teachers from across the country who share their experiences. Coming together creates a unique and incomparable bond. Gradalis unites faculty and community members through a common experience. Teachers gain an understanding of what lies behind this type of education and on while meeting daily challenges of teaching.
The professional development program includes main lesson block support throughout the school year. Understanding the developmental stages of the child and why we teach at each grade level provides background for all main lesson blocks and gives teachers confidence as they endeavor to teach in schools inspired by Waldorf principles throughout their program. Courses give teachers the foundation for understanding what it means to be a teaching in such a school!
We know it takes special people who are willing to strive and transform themselves to become true educators. GRADALIS professional development weaves this development throughout the coursework so it becomes deeply integrated into the life of our students.
